Abstract
The main target of the present study is to propose a tool capable of improving while generating a conflict free practice of school guidance in Cameroon. In details, this project concerns particularly the General System of Education of the country. To do this, it was carried out, in turn, a bibliographic work, data collection in the field, then data processing, followed by the drafting of the final document. In the Cameroonian system of General Education, there are three stages were school guidance is practiced. The first stage is within the first cycle, the second stage is between the first and the second cycle, and the third stage is between the second cycle. Regardless to the capabilities of each student, the most popular specialty at the entrance of the second cycle of general education in Cameroon is Year Five Science and Form 5 Science, respectively in the French-speaking and English-speaking Sub-Systems. In both Sub-Systems, only 25% of the work done by the student during the four years preceding this orientation is taken into account. Parents of students oriented to Literary specialty in the both sub-systems always contest the decision. The Fopoussi Tuebue Chart-2 proposes conflict free way of performing school guidance. For secondary institutions, it is an effective shield against parents often contesting the decisions of the Guidance Council. Boarding students who do not meet the conditions required to be oriented to Year five/Form 5 Science have in the vast majority of cases a level higher than that of external students admitted to enroll at this level and specialty. Each institution would benefit from finding ways and means to further promote their students before thinking of recruiting those coming from elsewhere for entry into the Year five/Form 5 Science. By doing so, positivity and wellbeing will become a reality in school compounds all over the country.
